Before entering the industry professionally, Yianni built a diverse career spanning government affairs, public relations, executive support, and the private sector. He has worked in fast-paced political and government environments, supporting senior decision-makers and managing complex priorities, while also gaining experience in business operations and client service. These roles developed the communication, discretion, organizational, and relationship-building skills that continue to shape his approach to leadership and aviation today.

In 2021, Yianni made the decision to pursue his lifelong passion for aviation and build a career in the cockpit. Since then, he has earned both Canadian and U.S. commercial pilot licences, with multi-engine and instrument ratings, as well as his Citation CE-500 SIC type rating, allowing him to support operations involving both Canadian- and U.S.-registered aircraft.

Yianni has experience operating advanced piston aircraft and business jets, including Cirrus aircraft and Cessna Citation operations. His growing experience across different aircraft and operating environments has reinforced his belief that aviation is about more than simply flying an aircraft. It is about preparation, professionalism, sound decision-making, and providing confidence to the people who place their trust in you.
